The original “Standing Woman” was created by the well known sculptor Gaston Lachaise and is nowadays the best known sculpture of the French American artist. “Standing Woman” is an attractive nude sculpture that presents the typical characteristics of the female nude figures made by Lachaise: sensual shapes, female hips and pure nudity. This abstract designed bronze figure was handmade and originally created by Lachaise between 1928 and 1930.
